Community engagement is the most important part of the structural aspects in developing the summer school. EMANA is going to carry this project out together with the community, meaning that they will basically decide on the needs and run the project by facilitation of EMANA. The first goal is therefore to engage with the community to organize a ‘summer school committee’. This committee will exist of community members, school teachers and EMANA representatives. The committee’s mandate will be to develop all aspects of the summer school program. When the committee is formed, regular meetings with the committee will be held in order to develop the summer school program, monitor the progress of the project and continuously re-evaluate the problems and needs.
As soon as the committee is formed, the members will introduce themselves of this page, stay tuned!
